Hezbollah Launches Coordinated Strike Against Israeli Targets

BEIRUT (AP) — Hezbollah launched 11 coordinated attacks against Israeli military and infrastructure targets on Monday morning, escalating tensions along the Lebanon-Israel border amid accusations of ceasefire violations.

The militant group deployed a combination of drones, missiles, and artillery in the operation, which began shortly after 9:00 a.m. local time. Israeli air defense systems intercepted several incoming projectiles, though officials confirmed that some munitions struck their intended targets in northern Israel. The attacks were the most significant coordinated offensive by the group since the implementation of a ceasefire agreement earlier this year.

Hezbollah stated the strikes were a direct response to continued Israeli violations of the truce, citing repeated incursions by Israeli forces into southern Lebanon and alleged air strikes on civilian infrastructure.
