Sweden to Transfer 16 Gripen Fighters to Ukraine in Early 2027

STOCKHOLM — Sweden will transfer 16 JAS 39 Gripen C/D fighter jets to Ukraine in early 2027, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson announced on Wednesday, marking a significant escalation in military support for Kyiv as the country fulfills its broader commitment to supply 150 aircraft over the coming years.
